Why was some photo of mine not accepted or deleted ?
Sorry, but we are not going to discuss this. We are about 10 admins, one of the admins is most likely unable to say who exactly declined the photo and for what reason. All incoming photos get checked and rated, that's a lot of work. We are humans, we do make mistakes. Most likely we will inform you via private message about the reason. Please do NOT upload a declined photo again, no means no, we might block your account for that. Even more infos here. Here are the most common reasons why we reject photos:
Poor image quality
The image shows compression artefacts. You used a cheap mobile phone camera or somehow low resolution, the photo has a lossy jpg compression, or you stole might the photo from another website. Your shot is blurry, the colors are all greyish, you shot against the light. more, more
Hardcore action
Your photo shows someone in action or it looks like it was shot after right after action. Not a good idea, not even with blurred faces. In this case we might set the photo “private”. more, more, more (german)
Bad photo composition
Does your shot look like this: A street scene on a grey day with lots of people, cars, commercials and somewhere in the back a graffiti? Go ahead: Dare to cross the street climb on the rooftop and take a cool shot of bombing with the cities skyline in the back.
Watermark
Ooops, there is a logo on the photo. We don't care if you, your camera, or they guy of the website where you stole it put it there. We simply don't like that. more, more, more (german)
Relation
You uploaded something else. It's ok to show trains (even without graffiti on it), but for photos of flowers and sunsets please reffer to flickr. Photos of sketches are cool, but most computer graphics will not be accepted. Again. Pease avoid to show faces (of anyone).
Sex, drugs & violence
Your photo might show alcohol, weed, bare facts (in a rude way), weapons. We know you are all hustlers, but this is definitly not the place for it. more

I need to change my member accounts name but i can not find this option!
That's easy to answer: It is not possible to change your streetfiles member name later on. As a streetfiles member you get known for your member name. Each member name should be unique. The name also has a unique URL (and cool URLs don't change).
Where can i manage my loved and hated photos?
There is no way for deleting loved or hated photos. the love/hate function is ment to be lightweight. something you just do spontaneously. Use the bookmarks to manage the photos you like.
I want some photos on Streetfiles to be deleted, what shall i do?
As long as it is not a case of copyright infringement (if you have enough proof use the contact page for this): Ask the Streetfiles member. The photos on Streetfiles belong to our members, not us. Here is an endless discussion (in german) about this topic.
I hated a photo by mistake, where can i undo that?
Not possible. Loves and Hates are the fastest way to show some reaction on a photo. It's just fun and shouldn't be taken too serious. If you want to manage something: use bookmarks.
How do the pics at the front page get selected?
Right now: by interaction of users without any interaction of the admins.
